Comprehensive Insurance Claim – Required Documents & Procedures

If the Police Kroka is available, the following documents are required:

  • Notification of the accident scheme.
  • A copy of the vehicle’s license.
  • The driver's license.
  • A copy of the vehicle owner’s identity card.

If the accident is against an unknown driver, the following documents are required:

  • A certified report from Traffic Management.
  • A copy of the vehicle’s license.
  • A copy of the vehicle owner’s identity card.

In the case of theft, the following documents are required:

  • A theft report issued by the Police Station.
  • Vehicle license, or explanations from the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department (DVLD) if the entire vehicle is stolen.
  • A certified public prosecutor’s decision if six months pass without the vehicle being found.
  • A judicial undertaking from the DVLD before receiving compensation.

In case of vehicle fire, the following documents are required:

  • A report issued by the Police Station.
  • Civil Defense report.
  • Criminal Investigation report.
  • Public Prosecutor's decision.
