Motor Claims Procedure
Comprehensive Insurance Claim – Required Documents & Procedures
If the Police Kroka is available, the following documents are required:
- Notification of the accident scheme.
- A copy of the vehicle’s license.
- The driver's license.
- A copy of the vehicle owner’s identity card.
If the accident is against an unknown driver, the following documents are required:
- A certified report from Traffic Management.
- A copy of the vehicle’s license.
- A copy of the vehicle owner’s identity card.
In the case of theft, the following documents are required:
- A theft report issued by the Police Station.
- Vehicle license, or explanations from the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department (DVLD) if the entire vehicle is stolen.
- A certified public prosecutor’s decision if six months pass without the vehicle being found.
- A judicial undertaking from the DVLD before receiving compensation.
In case of vehicle fire, the following documents are required:
- A report issued by the Police Station.
- Civil Defense report.
- Criminal Investigation report.
- Public Prosecutor's decision.
