With a true belief in supporting future couples and providing them facilities to make their new life easier, gig | Arab
Orient Insurance was one of the companies that participated in the “Marriage Program” offered by BLOM Bank.
In an event to launch the “Marriage Program”, at Crowne Plaza Jordan - Dead Sea Resort & Spa on Thursday 18th
September, 2014, a number of different companies participated as a supporting and encouraging gesture for all who
are about to get married in order to offer significant discounts to the members of the program; so as to save them some
of the wedding costs.
It is worth noting that gig | Arab Orient Insurance always makes sure to be part of all programs that benefit individuals
and the local society; this came as part of its social responsibility, and today the Company enjoys a deep rooted history
in terms of participation in such initiatives.

sponsors a free medical day at
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Based on its deep belief in the importance of health awareness including disease prevention and health care, gig | Arab
Orient Insurance sponsored a free medical day that was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, November
6th, 2014.
The event was attended by Mr. Mustafa Melhem; Deputy CEO– Medical Insurance, Customer Care & IT Departments,
Mr. Yazan Al Dawoud; Senior Manager – Medical Network Department, Dr. Firas Awadalla; Assistant Manager – Medical
Approvals department , Dr. Rana Al Hanbali and Mrs. Manar Dawoud; Officer – Medical Production Department.
From the Ministry side, the attendees were His Excellency General Secretary Mr. Mohammed Tayseer Al Massadeh,
General Inspector Mr. Mohammed Al Fayez, Managing Director Mr. Musa Karadsheh, Director of Insurance Unit Dr.
Fakhri Smeirat, His Excellency Ambassador Saleh Al Jawarneh, His Excellency Ambassador Adel Adayleh, His Excellency
Ambassador Ali Al Ghazzawi, His Excellency Ambassador Suleiman Arabyyat, His Excellency Ambassador Ibrahim Awaw-
deh, His Excellency Ambassador Ahmed Idris, Director of Media Department Mr. Ashraf Khasawneh, and a number of
ambassadors, diplomats and Ministry’s employees.
The medical day included free medical tests, blood tests and general check-ups under the supervision of MedLabs
Consultancy Group and the National Blood Bank.
As part of its responsibility in raising awareness in terms of health care of individuals, gig | Arab Orient Insurance greatly
highlights the importance of health care and constant check-ups for disease prevention and early detection, as there is
nothing more important than health.
