Internal Audit Department conducted awareness sessions for all gig-

gig – Jordan is keen on spreading awareness among its employees about the role of the Internal Audit
Department in protecting and developing the company’s operations. As a reason, the Internal Audit
Department, represented by Mr. Ahmed Isbahe- Senior Manager, held a series of training sessions for
employees during the period from 3 to 12 December 2017, in coordination with the Human Resources
Department.
During the sessions, a number of topics were discussed to clarify the positioning of the Internal Audit
Department in the organizational structure of the company and how important it is to prevent errors, fraud
and violation of instructions. The sessions also highlighted the duties of the department and responsibilities
that should not be carried out by the department’s employees basically related to the company’s operations
in order to avoid violating the independence of auditors and thus affect the results of auditing operations.
