gig | Arab Orient Insurance sponsors Medical Insurance
Conference “The Partnership between The Public and Private sectors”

Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Faisal Al-Fayez, Senate Presidant, gig | Arab Orient Insurance
sponsored the Medical Insurance Conference under the title «The Partnership between The Public and Private
Sectors» organized by the Jordan Health Insurances Association under the administration of Mr. Fawwaz Al-
Ajlouni, General Manager of the Association. The conference was held at the Kempeski Hotel Dead Sea on the
11th and 12th of May, 2016.
The conference addressed a number of subject matters of concerns to the country and the citizens, most
notably the issue of the waste in drug prescription and the significance of bringing all citizens under the
umbrella of health insurance in light of current economic circumstances facing the local communities, as well as
encouraging more efforts to be placed into creating specific mechanisms for providing people with their right
to choose their desired type of insurance.
Among the gig | Arab Orient Insurance attendees were Mr. Yazan Khasawneh – Senior Director, who presided the
conference session on the second day, Mr. Suleiman Dandis – Deputy Director / Medical Insurance Department,
in addition to a number of the company’s staff and a number of speakers who gave lectures related to the topic.
At the end of the conference, a shield of acknowledgement was presented to Mr. Mustafa Melhem, CEO of
gig | Arab Orient Insurance, and another shield to Mr. Yazan Khasawneh and Mr. Suleiman Dandis.
