gig | Arab Orient Insurance sponsors cleft lip operations

Charity commitment is high up on the agenda of gig | Arab Orient Insurance and firmly rooted in the traditions of
the company. Recently, the company has supported the Operation Smile Jordan Organization in its campaign
“Operation Smile”; a campaign that drew a smile on the faces of children and their parents. gig | Arab Orient
Insurance prides itself on being the official sponsor of 50 operations for kids suffering from cleft lip or congenital
malformations.
The great support was announced upon a press conference organized by the Organization and was attended by
Dr. Amal Zureikat, and Mr. Mustafa Melhem, CEO of gig | Arab Orient Insurance.
Mr. Mustafa Melhem commented saying: “We care about our kids; we strive to create a better life and future
for them. The operations enhance kids’ self-confidence, and opens doors for them to live their lives normally.
They are integral members of our society and conveying extra attention both physically and emotionally is our
responsibility.”
The Operation Smile Jordan Organization is a non-profit medical organization that seeks to organize free
medical campaigns and free surgeries to repair cleft lip, or any facial deformities under the supervision of
doctors and volunteers from Jordan and the entire world.
