gig – Jordan supports the conference “Challenges the reality of transport
and future requirements”
Under the patronage of the Transport minister Eng. Jamil Mjahed, gig – Jordan has sponsored the conference
titled “Transportation – Today’s challenges and Tomorrow’s aspirations” held on 2017/11/18 and was organized
by Al Yasmin Association.
The sponsorship of the conference came to highlight the major role of the Transportation Sector in the national
economy as well as in the economic and social development, as it is the most energy consuming sector which
makes it one of the most challenging factors in the sustainable development.
The conference discussed numerous topics such as smart transportation, air transport and airports, sustainable
transportation and their role in the protection of environment and saving energy. The conference was attended
by a number of specialists in the fields of air and maritime transportation, and a number of decision makers in
ministries, public institutions and community societies.
From gig – Jordan, Mr. Ismail Atalla - Deputy Manager of Motor Production Department and Mr. Abedalrahman
El Sheikh - Senior Officer Marine, Aviation and Energy Department attended the conference.
The support shown by gig – Jordan came to prove the true belief in serving the local society by supporting a
number of initiatives, social and economic activities.
