The agenda of the Conference highlighted some topics related to advanced technology that help control and detect errors. It
also emphasized on the importance of developing an action plan for the implementation of future projects such as automate
and develop the Internal Audit functions in all the KIPCO group companies.
Moreover, the latest standards and trends of internal audit globally and regionally were discussed; ideas were exchanged
among KIPCO group companies to strengthen the role of Internal Audit : for the group different business sectors companies.
Mr. Ahmad Isbahe, Senior Manager of Internal Audit Department, at Arab Orient Insurance – Jordan representing gulf
insurance group (gig), spoke about the latest and the modern internal audit related Navigating Technology’s “Top 10 Risks:
Internal Audit’s Role” which is one of the most important related topics. Furthermore, Mr. Fahmi Waddah Abdel Hadi Sami
Maraqa from the Internal Audit Department, and Mr. Bashir Al Badarin – Internal control manager / motor claims department
attended the conference.
It is worth noting that the conference was coordinated by Mrs. Safa Abu Nasreyeh - Senior Executive Assistant at gig Jordan,
as she took care of arranging the details of the conference including Logistics matters for all attendees, as she has contributed
in making this conference successful which was appreciated by the management of the conference and by the Internal audit
of Gulf Insurance Group.
The conference concluded with a speech by Mr. Abdul Karim Al Kabariti, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jordan Kuwait
Bank, who expressed his delight for the presence of KIPCO Internal Auditors in Jordan. He highlighted the significant positive
impact of this conference on improving the internal audit function among KIPCO group companies.
