Adnan Abu Al Haija’a

Mr. Adnan has recently joined gig | Arab Orient Insurance bringing with him a rich journey of qualifications and
extensive experience. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in 1999 in Computer Science and Information Systems, and
a Master’s degree from Al al-Bayt University in 2004 in Computer Science and Information Systems, as well as
several certifications in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management – UK.
Adnan prides himself on a professional journey and extensive experience of 16 years in Risk Management IT
in different companies in the Middle East. He established the Risk Management Department in 5 companies
located in 5 different countries as an integral part of the companies’ corporate strategy and employees’ culture.
Abu Al haija’a has newly received “Corporate Risk Manager of the year 2016” Award by Middle East Insurance
Review magazine – Singapore, and Al Bayan magazine.
With the establishment of Risk Management Department, Adnan Abu Al haija’a seeks to fulfill the vision of
the company’s CEO and BOD. This can be done through a strategic early warning system that maintains
the company’s strength and reputation, and also improves its operations and procedures. Moreover, a
comprehensive methodology will help anticipate, identify, manage and control business risks that may affect
the company’s goals. He will also assist in developing policies, and procedures, and benefit from competencies
and IT tools to bring this vision to life.
Adnan hopes that the Risk Management Department plays an essential role strategically and operationally.
He aspires that this department communicates and works directly with all departments and divisions of the
company, especially when it comes to important decisions.
